Volmod, started in 2003 by Jeff Blandford, has been a thriving ceramics shop and interior design secret from the beginning. Jeff's extensive technical understanding of firing and glazing, paired with bold design and colorful palettes make him a cutting edge ceramist who has already developed a large following at this early point in his career. Jeff draws inspiration from all over. His earliest influences include the far-reaching design of Charles and Ray Eames and other fine furnishings from leaders like Herman Miller and Steelcase. He continues to find direction from his 5-acre organic farm in the countryside of Saugatuck MI, a beautiful art-filled town on the coast of Lake Michigan.
